Dr. George Yiachos earned a Bachelor of Science Degree at City College of New York's 7-year BS/MD Biomedical Program and his Medical Degree as a graduate from State University of New York Stony Brook Medical School in 1989.
He completed his Internal Medicine residency and Cardiology fellowship at Winthrop-University Hospital, Long Island, in 1991-1997.
He was a full-time Cardiovascular Diseases attending physician; at Winthrop-University Hospital from 1997 to 1998 before moving to private practice as a Cardiovascular Diseases and Nuclear Cardiology specialist from 1998 to 2021.
In 2021 he established WPR Medical, a Multi-State Integrative Orthomolecular Cardiology practice based out of Naples, Florida.
Dr George Yiachos is a cardiology specialist who is board certified in cardiovascular disease and nuclear cardiology. Dr. Yiachos is a recent transplant to Florida having moved from NYC where he spent over 27 years with one of New York’s premier hospital institutions.
In March 2020, Dr. Yiachos volunteered to care for critically ill COVID patients in the hospital during the height of the “pandemic”. During that time, he experienced firsthand what transpired in the acute medical setting and has been at the front-line helping patients receive early treatment that was denied to them through normal health access avenues while maintaining a thriving cardiology practice.
In 2021 he established WPR Medical, a Multi-State Integrative Orthomolecular Cardiology practice based out of Naples, Florida.
