Laurence Kinsella, MD

Dr. Laurence Kinsella is board certified in internal medicine, neurology, neuromuscular medicine, electromyography, and autonomic disorders. He has been recognized as one of the Best Doctors in the United States since 2005 and received the Teacher of the Year award from the U.S. Psychiatric Congress in 2009. Dr. Kinsella is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Neurology.
A native of St. Louis, he completed his residency in internal medicine at St. John's Mercy in St. Louis, followed by a neurology residency at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. He then completed a fellowship in neuromuscular medicine and electromyography at Columbia University in New York. Currently, he serves as the co-director of neurology at the SSM Health Neuroscience Institute.

Dr. Kinsella specializes in neuromuscular disorders, electromyography, and autonomic disorders. His office is located on the campus of SSM Health St. Clare Hospital in Fenton. In addition to his medical practice, Dr. Kinsella is a fitness and spinning instructor at the YMCA. He enjoys watercolor painting, playing the guitar, and stand-up paddleboarding in his free time.
